In order to meet the urgent demand of emerging industries for new electronic materials, promote the high-quality development of my country's electronic materials industry, and enhance new quality productivity, the China Electronic Materials Industry Association will hold the China Electronic Materials Industry Innovation and Development (Baise) Conference and the 3rd Electronic New Materials and High-end Equipment and Instruments Exhibition from July 10 to 13, 2024 in Baise City, Guangxi Autonomous Region, which is an important frontier of my country's open cooperation with ASEAN and will be built into an important platform for China and ASEAN to jointly build the "Belt and Road" with high quality in the future. The Powder Technology Branch and Powder Circle of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association will be responsible for hosting the "Electronic Grade Non-metallic Mineral Powder Theme Forum".

Guangxi Baise has rich non-metallic mineral resources such as calcium carbonate, barite, and bentonite. Among them, calcium carbonate ore has large reserves and high grade. At present, there are nearly 50 calcium carbonate powder production companies in Baise. In addition, Baise has found a total of 732 million tons of bauxite resources, accounting for a quarter of the national resources. At present, Baise's industrial alumina production capacity has reached 10 million tons, providing sufficient raw material support for the development of fine alumina powder industry in the region.

The application of non-metallic mineral powders in the electronics industry is an important direction for its product upgrade. At the same time, downstream users have also put forward higher requirements for powder quality, such as purity, particle size, morphology, specific surface area, etc. How to develop suitable products for the special needs of customers requires close communication between upstream and downstream companies. The Powder Technology Branch of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association and the Powder Circle Platform will organize the "2024 National Electronic Grade Non-metallic Mineral Powder Material Innovation and Development Forum and Baise Fine Alumina Industry Forum" in Baise, Guangxi.
